As Mahatma Gandhi Famously said, “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”

The pet overpopulation epidemic is so staggering that for every animal born in the United States to have a home each and every human being would have to own 6 dogs and 9 cats. So, in actuality a family of four…2 parents and 2 small children would have to own 24 dogs and 36 cats.

Every 2 seconds an animal is euthanized in the U.S. because it does not have a home.

VISION: To help prevent the needless suffering of animals and lend a hand to our community.

It is THAT TIME OF YEAR again. You all know what time of year I'm talking about, "Puppy and kitten season!" It should be added to the calendar, between winter and fall!! If you have room in your hearts and in your homes please adopt a new pet from your local rescue or shelter. Petfinder.com is a good way to look at the animals in your area without even leaving home. We offer several workshops. If you need advice about a particular problem you are having with your pet, contact our animal behaviorist for help. Donations appreciated, however not neccessary.
